Terms of use
Last updated 19 October 2026
These terms form an agreement between you and BrainGym covering the BrainGym iOS app and this website. By creating an account you accept them.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use BrainGym.
- Provide accurate details and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Manipulate scores, leaderboards or streaks, including through automation.
- Harass other athletes or post abusive, unlawful or infringing content.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to break the security of the service.
- Resell or redistribute any part of the service.
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
Not medical advice
BrainGym is a cognitive training product, not a medical device. Scores and trends are for your own interest and are not a diagnosis, assessment or treatment. If you have concerns about your cognition or memory, speak to a qualified healthcare professional.
Your content
You keep ownership of anything you post. You grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to run the service — for example showing your display name and avatar on a leaderboard.
Our content
The BrainGym name, logo, exercise designs, software and written material belong to BrainGym. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; nothing else is transferred.
Purchases
Any subscriptions or in-app purchases are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. Apple's terms and refund policy apply to those transactions.
Availability
We work to keep BrainGym running, but we provide it "as is" without warranties. Features may change, and we may suspend the service for maintenance.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting your account — in the app, or via this form. We may end the agreement if you materially break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
